Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.
Role Overview
The Service Advisor bridges customers and technicians, managing service bookings, diagnostics, and follow-ups. Reporting to the Service Manager, the role demands 2-5 years in automotive/EV service advisory.
What You'll Actually Do
- Greet customers, assess EV issues (e.g., battery, motor, charging faults), and create detailed job cards with initial inspections.
- Recommend services like preventive maintenance, software updates, or warranty repairs; provide accurate cost estimates and timelines.
- Coordinate with technicians for diagnostics, repairs, and quality checks; track progress and update customers proactively.
- Upsell accessories, extended warranties, or maintenance packages while educating on EV benefits like lower running costs.
- Handle complaints, escalations, and roadside assistance (RSA) queries; maintain service records in CRM/HRMS like Keka.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, FAME guidelines, and company policies; conduct vehicle handovers with demos.
Who We're Looking For
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related; 2-5 years as Service Advisor (EV/2-wheeler preferred).
- Technical knowledge of EVs (batteries, BMS, controllers); proficient in diagnostic tools and MS Excel.
- Excellent Tamil/English communication; customer-centric with negotiation and multitasking skills.
- Chennai-based; willing for rotational shifts and 20% travel to support regional dealers.
