Key Responsibilities:
Service Coordination
- Receive and process service requests from internal departments or clients.
- Schedule, track, and prioritize service tasks in coordination with production and engineering teams.
- Ensure timely completion of service work in line with project deadlines.
Customer and Stakeholder Interaction
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding service status.
- Communicate technical updates, issues, and recommendations effectively.
- Address queries and resolve minor service-related issues proactively.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare and maintain service reports, work orders, and documentation of technical activities.
- Record service history, track maintenance schedules, and monitor performance metrics.
- Report service progress and challenges to management regularly.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure service work adheres to company quality standards, production protocols, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions or improvements.
- Monitor compliance with process guidelines and maintain accurate records.
Support for Production & Engineering Teams
- Liaise between production, maintenance, and engineering teams to streamline service delivery.
- Assist in identifying recurring technical issues and suggest process improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and service efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or relevant engineering discipline.
- 2–6 years of experience in service coordination or advisory roles in production, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP / service management software.
- Knowledge of production processes, maintenance, and technical documentation standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with manufacturing operations, preventive maintenance, or equipment servicing.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
