Role Overview:
As a Technician Server, Network & Cloud in the Projects Team at Danush, you will be responsible for executing infrastructure deployment projects involving server systems, network equipment, and cloud components. You will play a critical role in enabling client environments by delivering reliable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server Deployment & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows servers including roles such as AD, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
- Networking Setup & Integration: Implement routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking components; ensure proper configuration of VLANs, routing, and security policies.
- Cloud Integration Support: Assist in deploying and configuring cloud-based solutions (primarily Microsoft 365, Azure IaaS, and basic SaaS components) as part of infrastructure projects.
- Project Implementation: Support the Project Manager in executing technical tasks during infrastructure rollouts and migrations.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues related to server, network, or basic cloud setups during deployment phases.
- Client Coordination: Collaborate with customer IT teams during implementation, testing, and handover activities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of configurations, network layouts, and deployment steps.
- Post-Deployment Handover: Work with internal support teams to ensure smooth transition into managed services or AMC.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in IT infrastructure projects, particularly in server and networking domains.
- Working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Windows Server platforms
- Microsoft 365 and basic Azure services
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching)
- Firewalls and security appliances (FortiGate, SonicWall, or similar)
- Preferred Certifications: CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or M365 Fundamentals.
