Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1 support for F5 Load Balancer (LTM) infrastructure
- Monitor Load Balancer health, virtual servers, pools, and nodes
- Handle incident management & service requests as per SLA
- Perform basic configuration – VIP creation, pool member addition/removal
- Troubleshoot application accessibility & load balancing issues
- Work on SSL certificate installation (basic level)
- Check logs and perform initial troubleshooting before L2 escalation
- Participate in change management activities
- Coordinate with network, server, and application teams
- Prepare daily health check and operational reports
- Support 24x7 shift-based operations
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of F5 BIG-IP (LTM)
- Understanding of Load Balancing concepts (Round Robin, Least Connection, etc.)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS
- Basic Networking fundamentals
- Incident & ticketing tools (ServiceNow preferred)
- Basic troubleshooting skills
Preferred Skills
- F5 OEM certification (Good to have)
- CCNA / CCNP (Preferred)
- Basic knowledge of DNS & SSL
- Understanding of Application delivery architecture
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
Experience
- 3 years of experience in Load Balancer / Networking support
- Minimum 1 year experience on F5 (LTM) preferred
