As a Server Administrator, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure in this full-time, remote role. Your responsibilities will include managing server and system configurations, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to maintain optimal system uptime and reliability. You will also work closely with other IT teams to implement updates, improve security protocols, and address system-related challenges to support business needs effectively.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Server Administration with a proven ability to configure, maintain, and optimize server environments.
- Proficiency in System Administration tasks, including managing hardware, software, and system backups.
- Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to identify and resolve server or system-related issues promptly.
- In-depth knowledge of Operating Systems, including Windows, Linux, or other commonly used systems in the industry.
- Familiarity with network protocols, monitoring systems, and security best practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Server+, or RHCSA) are highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
