About the Role
Lead and oversee end-to-end SEO strategy, execution, and performance for client accounts. Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of six people spanning technical SEO, content (editorial), on-page, and off-page optimization. Drive measurable client success through strategic planning, timely execution, and continuous performance tracking. Additionally, contribute actionable feedback to improve internal tools and actively support ongoing product development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end SEO strategy to achieve defined KPIs such as organic traffic growth, keyword rankings, conversions, and revenue impact
- Translate business goals into measurable SEO plans, with clear targets, timelines, and success metrics
- Lead and manage a cross-functional team to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all SEO functions
- Monitor performance through regular reporting, identify optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvements
- Act as the primary client point of contact, presenting data-backed insights and demonstrating ROI from SEO initiatives
- Proactively identify performance risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall SEO impact
Required Qualifications
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to clearly articulate SEO concepts, marketing strategies, and tactical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing roles, with proven hands-on execution and strategy exposure
- Proficiency in industry-standard SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Prior agency experience, with the ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
