SEO Specialist (WordPress + Modern SEO)

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our team in Mohali.

This role is primarily office-based, with occasional work-from-home flexibility.

We are looking for someone who understands how SEO is evolving and can work across both traditional SEO and modern search environments.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field

Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO

Experience with keyword research, content optimisation, and performance tracking

Modern SEO Skillset (Important)

Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and how to optimise content for featured snippets and AI-driven search

Awareness of AI search platforms (Google SGE, ChatGPT, Bing AI) and how search behaviour is changing

Ability to structure content for intent, entities, and semantic search

Experience optimising for E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trust)

Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and technical performance factors

Understanding of schema markup / structured data

Website & WordPress Skills

Comfortable working on WordPress websites (editing pages, implementing SEO changes, basic design/layout understanding)

Ability to identify technical website issues and implement or coordinate fixes

Additional Requirements

Comfortable working with international clients

Strong analytical and communication skills
