About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on SEO Specialist (2–3 years experience) to own technical and content-driven SEO activities across client websites. You'll run audits, execute on-page and off-page optimizations, collaborate with content & dev teams to implement fixes, and use data to drive organic growth and visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Technical SEO & Audits
● Conduct full-site SEO audits (crawl, indexability, site speed, mobile UX, hreflang, canonicalization).
● Prioritise and document technical fixes with clear impact estimates.
● Work with devs to validate and implement fixes (redirects, robots, sitemaps, structured data).
On-page SEO & Content Support
● Perform keyword research and map keywords to pages; create content briefs for writers.
● Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking and content structure for target keywords.
● Ensure content is search-intent aligned and recommend content gap opportunities.
Off-page SEO & Linkbuilding
● Devise and execute white-hat link acquisition strategies (digital PR, outreach, partnerships).
● Monitor backlink profile quality and disavow toxic links when needed.
● Support brand mentions and citation management for local SEO where relevant.
SEO Implementation & Collaboration
● Work closely with content creators, designers, and developers to ship SEO improvements.
● Review staging/production changes and perform QA on SEO implementations.
● Help shape product/content roadmaps by highlighting SEO-led opportunities.
Analytics, Monitoring & Reporting
● Track organic KPIs (impressions, clicks, rankings, CTR, sessions, conversions) using Google Search Console & Analytics.
● Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and prioritized recommendations.
● Use tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush, PageSpeed Insights) to monitor health and progress.
What We're Looking For
● 2 to 3 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house).
● Strong technical SEO fundamentals: crawling, indexing, sitemaps, redirects, hreflang, structured data.
● Solid keyword research and on-page optimization skills.
● Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and at least one SEO tool (Ahrefs / SEMrush / Moz).
● Comfortable reading HTML/CSS and coordinating with developers.
● Good analytical skills and the ability to convert data into actionable recommendations.
● Clear communication skills and experience working with content/engineering teams.
● Organized, deadline-driven, and proactive.
Bonus If You Have:
● Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify/Magento) and product SEO.
● Knowledge of schema markup (JSON-LD) and advanced structured data.
● Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, basic SQL or Python for data pulls.
● Prior agency experience and client-facing exposure.
● Experience with international or local SEO and site migrations.
