Key Responsibilities:
Task & Project Management:
- Assign, review, and oversee off-page SEO tasks to SEO Executives (SEOEs)
- Maintain the project tracker, update status of on-page, off-page, and other activities
- Ensure timely completion of all deliverables as per client expectations
- Manage a portfolio of at least 6 client projects simultaneously
- Utilize Zoho Projects for task tracking and timely execution
On-Page & Off-Page SEO:
- Execute comprehensive on-page SEO strategies to improve website rankings
- Monitor and analyze on-page and off-page SEO performance metrics
- Identify website SEO issues weekly, prioritize fixes, and implement solutions
- Execute action plans derived from SEO audits
Team Leadership & Mentoring:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate SEO Executives to achieve project goals
- Provide constructive feedback and promote continuous learning within the team
- Encourage knowledge sharing and innovative problem-solving
Quality Control & Reporting:
- Review SEO tasks for adherence to best practices and client requirements
- Vet all reports, data, and details before sharing with SEO Team Lead or Digital Account Managers
- Prepare and review weekly, monthly, and ad hoc SEO performance reports
- Gather and analyze data for monthly review and strategic decision-making
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Digital Account Managers, Web Development, Design, and Content teams
- Align SEO strategies with broader digital marketing objectives
- Follow up rigorously with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables
Content & Development Management:
- Prepare content topic outlines aligned with SEO strategies
- Oversee development tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations
- Review content for SEO compliance and provide recommendations
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Monitor industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and competitors
- Recommend and implement adjustments to SEO strategies for maximizing ROI
- Contribute innovative ideas for process improvements and client problem-solving
Client & Escalation Management:
- Handle client escalations promptly and professionally
- Ensure project scope adherence and obtain approvals for additional work
- Maintain clear communication and follow-ups with all stakeholders
Learning & Development:
- Stay updated with latest SEO trends, tools, and best practices
- Encourage a culture of knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with proven track record in managing SEO projects and teams
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- SEO certifications (Google Analytics, HubSpot SEO Certification) preferred
