We're a team of marketers, designers, strategists, and growth specialists who believe marketing should be measured in pipeline and revenue, not impressions and clicks. Our offices span Pune, Dubai, and Pennsylvania, but we operate remote-first.
Role Description
We need someone who understands how search actually works and can write content that B2B decision-makers genuinely want to read. Most people do one or the other well; we're looking for both.
You'll own SEO and AEO strategy for zazzy's own growth and for client projects. The work involves building SEO content architectures, writing 2,000+ word guides that rank and convert, and understanding why a CFO reads content differently than a CMO. You'll report to our VP of Marketing and collaborate across brand, design, and demand gen teams.
The work is visible, the impact is measurable, and you won't spend your days in approval loops.
What you will do
Strategy & Research
You'll build keyword strategies that connect to business outcomes rather than traffic vanity metrics. This includes competitive analysis, identifying content gaps worth filling, and developing SEO content architectures for zazzy and client brands. We also expect you to stay current on how AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews are changing search behaviour - because they are, significantly.
Content Creation & Optimisation
The core of this role involves writing long-form & short-form, technically complex B2B content that ranks and builds authority. You'll structure content for featured snippets and answer engine optimisation, and you'll optimise existing content when a good edit beats a new piece. We have strong opinions about AI-sounding writing, so the content needs to sound human.
Technical SEO
You'll manage on-page SEO across sites, monitor Core Web Vitals and technical health, implement schema markup and structured data, and coordinate with developers on technical fixes when needed.
Measurement & Reporting
Tracking rankings and organic traffic matters, but we care more about conversion from organic channels. You'll connect SEO performance to pipeline metrics and report insights to clients and internal stakeholders without drowning them in data.
In addition, You'll own SEO and AEO strategy for client accounts, translate technical SEO concepts for non-technical clients, and build content roadmaps that align with their business goals.
