Role overview:
Weʼre looking for an SEO Manager (4—7 years experience in B2B SaaS) who can drive organic growth in an AI-first search landscape.
This is not a traditional SEO role.
You will own:
- Search strategy across Google + AI platforms (GEO / AI search)
- Keyword + intent strategy
- Content structure and optimization
- Organic pipeline contribution
You will work closely with content, but you are the brain behind what gets created, why it ranks, and how it converts.
What youʼll own:
1. AI-first SEO strategy (core focus)
- Build and execute an AI-first search strategy (GEO + LLM optimization)
- Optimize Apty for:
- AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini)
- Featured snippets / zero-click results
- Entity-based search and semantic relevance
- Ensure Apty content is discoverable, extractable, and quotable by AI systems
2. Keyword & search intent ownership
- Own end-to-end keyword strategy:
- High-intent keywords
- Problem-led keywords
- Map keywords to:
- Buyer stages
- Core personas
- Move beyond volume → focus on pipeline-driving intent
3. Content strategy & structure
- Work with content team to:
- Define content briefs, outlines, and narrative structure
- Ensure every page is:
- Search-optimized
- AI-readable
- Outcome-led (not feature-led)
- Enforce:
- Clear information hierarchy
- Internal linking strategy
- Topic clusters and authority building
4. Technical & on-page SEO
- Own on-page optimization:
- Metadata, schema, headings, internal links
- Partner with engineering for:
- Site performance
- Indexing, crawlability
- Structured data for AI/search engines
5. Performance & growth
- Track and improve:
- Pipeline contribution from SEO
- Run experiments across:
- Content formats
- AI visibility
- Conversion optimization

- AI-first mindset (Critical)
- You understand that SEO is changing.
- You have experience with:
- AI search / LLM optimization (or strong exposure)
- Entity-based SEO and semantic search
- Writing for machines + humans
- You think in terms of:
- Will ChatGPT cite this
- Will this show up in AI answers
- Is this structured for extraction
Core skills:
