We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Accounting team, within an exciting and dynamic global technology provider. The Senior Analyst- Accounting role is a key position in the accounting department tasked with ensuring transactions are accounted for correctly and in accordance with Bottomline s policies. In addition, executing systems and processes effectively to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Essential Job Functions:
- The position requires completing month-end close procedures
- Journal entry calculation and processing
- Forecast vs Actuals Variance Analysis
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Balance Sheet Analytics and flux analysis
- Good knowledge of GST and Indirect tax activities of India entities
- Support Stat Audit
- Maintaining Accounting repositories
- Work collaboratively with business functions to obtain data and inputs to complete the monthly close.
- Ongoing projects related to processes improvement initiatives around key corporate accounting functions.
- Researching and concluding on transactions for proper accounting treatment and coding.
- Supporting ad hoc accounting projects.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Strong attention to detail and able to consistently and timely produce quality, accurate work
