SEO Executive Job Description
Reporting to: SEO Manager
Role Overview
The SEO Executive will support the planning and execution of SEO strategies, ensuring smooth implementation and continuous performance improvement across brands.
Key Responsibilities
On-Page SEO
- Execute daily SEO activities as per plan
- Coordinate with the website team to implement SEO strategies
- Review and validate SEO implementations
- Maintain SEO trackers, task plans, and timelines
- Document and share MoMs with internal and external stakeholders
- Plan, track, and analyze promotional campaigns from an SEO perspective
Off-Page SEO
- Conduct competitor backlink analysis
- Maintain backlink and anchor text trackers
- Outreach and follow-ups with webmasters/authors
- Negotiate and close backlink opportunities
- Build and maintain a niche-wise webmaster contact database
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the SEO Manager in client meetings
- Assist in pitch decks and internal training initiatives
- Guide junior executives and ensure quality as per Schbang standards
Skills & Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Collaborative team player with adaptability to new tools
- Proficient in Google Analytics and SEO tools
- Experience working with at least one CMS
