Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented SEO Writer to join our content team. As an SEO Writer at IGP.com, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, optimized content that enhances search visibility and drives organic traffic. You will collaborate closely with SEO strategists, product teams, and designers to ensure content aligns with business goals and search trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Write SEO-friendly content for category pages, product descriptions, landing pages, blogs, and articles.
- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools (like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.) to identify content opportunities.
- Optimize existing website content to improve search rankings.
- Collaborate with the SEO and digital marketing team to understand and implement best practices.
- Monitor content performance and make data-driven improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO, content, and e-commerce trends.
- Ensure content is aligned with IGP's tone, voice, and branding.
Requirements
- 13 years of experience as an SEO writer/content writer (preferably in e-commerce or digital products).
- Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proven experience with keyword research and on-page SEO.
- Ability to write engaging, clear, and concise content tailored to different customer personas.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, or similar.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics and SEO performance metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in e-commerce or product-based content writing.
- Understanding of user search intent and funnel-based content strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong editing/proofreading skills.
