Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated SEO & Content Writing Intern who can produce high-quality, search-optimized content for the AEC/BIM space. You will work closely with our Marketing Specialist to execute content strategy, conduct keyword research, write long-form articles, and help build our authority in the AEC education space. This is a hands-on role with real impact — your content will rank on Google and reach thousands of AEC professionals.

What You'll Do
- Research and write long-form, SEO-optimized blog articles targeting AEC/BIM professionals (1,500 words).
- Conduct keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console to identify high-opportunity topics.
- Optimize existing content for search intent, readability, and on-page SEO (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal links).
- Create AEO-ready FAQ content and structured Q&A sections aligned with featured snippet and People Also Ask opportunities.
- Support the pillar-cluster content architecture by identifying and mapping internal linking opportunities across blog posts.
- Assist with uploading and formatting content in WordPress (Yoast/RankMath, categories, tags, schema).
- Perform SERP analysis and competitor content research to identify content gaps and opportunities.
- Collaborate on content briefs, outlines, and editorial calendars with the marketing team.
- Track and report on content performance metrics using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
What We're Looking For
Must Have:
- Strong written English communication skills — clear, concise, and professional.
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimization, search intent.
- Familiarity with WordPress or any CMS for content publishing.
- Ability to research and write about technical topics (construction, architecture, or engineering background is a big plus).
- Attention to detail — accuracy in facts, formatting, and grammar.
Good to Have:
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or Google Search Console.
- Knowledge of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) or schema markup basics.
- Prior internship or freelance content writing experience.
- Understanding of the AEC/BIM industry or a background in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude) and how to use them responsibly for research and drafting.
