About the Role

As a Content and SEO Intern, you will work closely with the marketing team to improve Acolyte Living's organic visibility, search rankings, and website traffic. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to both content creation and search optimization, helping ensure that students actively looking for accommodation abroad can find and trust Acolyte Living.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and identify SEO opportunities relevant to the student accommodation space
• Optimize website content, blogs, and landing pages for search engines
• Support on-page SEO tasks including meta tags, headings, and internal linking
• Assist with off-page SEO activities such as backlink outreach and directory submissions
• Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Track keyword rankings and prepare regular performance reports for the team
• Collaborate with content and design teams to produce SEO-friendly content
• Stay updated on SEO trends, search algorithm updates, and competitor activity

What We Are Looking For

• 0 to 1 year of experience in SEO, content writing, or digital marketing
• Basic understanding of SEO concepts and how search engines work
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs is preferred
• Good written communication skills with attention to detail
• Analytical mindset and comfort working with data and performance metrics
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
• Basic knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms is a plus
