About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic SEO Executive with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and managing both on-page and off-page SEO activities to enhance our clients online visibility and organic search rankings. This role requires a proactive individual who can coordinate with various teams, analyze data, and implement effective SEO strategies to drive measurable results. As an SEO Executive at Schbang, you will contribute to the growth of our clients digital footprint by leveraging your expertise in SEO tools, analytics, and content optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, AHRefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
- Experience operating at least one Content Management System (CMS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Asana, Pitchbox, and other relevant software.
Responsibilities
On-page SEO:
- Execute planned SEO activities on a day-to-day basis, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Coordinate with the website development team to implement SEO strategies effectively.
- Review and verify the implementation of SEO updates on websites.
- Maintain comprehensive trackers for SEO activities and updates to monitor progress.
- Create detailed task plans and timelines for SEO projects.
- Record and maintain minutes of meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Plan, strategize, and track promotional campaigns with an SEO perspective to maximize outreach and engagement.
Off-page SEO
- Conduct link analysis of competitors backlinks to identify opportunities.
- Maintain and update a link tracker, including anchor texts and linking domains.
- Reach out to webmasters and authors of targeted websites for link-building opportunities.
- Negotiate terms and close deals with webmasters to secure backlinks.
- Maintain a database of webmaster contacts across various niche markets for future outreach.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in client meetings alongside the SEO manager to present strategies and progress.
- Assist in creating pitch decks and internal training materials to enhance team knowledge.
- Guide and mentor junior team members, ensuring their work adheres to Schbang's standards of quality and excellence.
