Job Description:
We are looking for a modern SEO & AI Search Specialist who understands that search has evolved beyond traditional rankings. This role focuses on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to improve brand visibility across Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and emerging discovery platforms. The ideal candidate should be experimental, data-driven, and comfortable working at the intersection of technical SEO, structured content, and AI search behavior.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute advanced SEO strategies focused on search intent, topical authority, and entity optimization.
- Optimize websites for AI-driven search platforms including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
- Build and implement Answer Engine Optimization strategies to improve featured snippet and zero-click visibility.
- Strengthen Generative Engine Optimization efforts to improve brand citation and authority signals across LLM platforms.
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits including crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and site architecture.
- Implement and manage schema markup including FAQ, Article, Organization, Product, and Local Business schema.
- Perform advanced keyword research aligned with informational, navigational, and commercial intent.
- Design and execute topical cluster strategies to build long-term domain authority.
- Monitor brand visibility across AI and traditional search platforms and identify visibility gaps.
- Analyze SERP behavior shifts and adapt strategy based on algorithm and AI model updates.
- Collaborate with content teams to structure content for AI readability, contextual clarity, and search performance.
- Develop ethical backlink acquisition strategies focused on authority, relevance, and long-term trust.
- Track KPIs including rankings, impressions, CTR, AI visibility mentions, organic leads, and conversions.
- Create monthly SEO performance reports with clear insights and action plans.
- Continuously test and adopt emerging SEO and AI visibility tools and workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 24 years of hands-on experience in SEO or digital growth roles, preferably in an agency environment.
- Strong understanding of modern SEO including semantic search, entity optimization, and topical authority.
- Experience optimizing content for featured snippets, AI-generated summaries, and zero-click results.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of technical SEO including indexing, canonicalization, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
- Basic understanding of HTML, website architecture, and WordPress environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
