Senior WordPress Developer (35 Years)
Role Overview
We're looking for a hands-on Senior WordPress Developer who can build, customize, and optimize high-quality websites. This role is for someone who enjoys coding, solving real problems, and taking ownership of delivery quality.
You'll work closely with designers, QA, and business teams to turn requirements into stable, scalable websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and develop WordPress themes as per business requirements
- Extensive use of ACF Pro for structured and scalable content
- Work with Elementor / Elementor Pro and WPBakery
- Customize existing plugins and develop custom plugins when needed
- Write clean, maintainable core PHP code using WordPress best practices
- Integrate third-party APIs such as WhatsApp, SMS, Email, and other tools
- Optimize websites for performance, caching, and responsiveness
- Ensure cross-device and cross-browser compatibility
- Perform website QA, bug fixing, and performance audits
- Implement SEO best practices (on-page and technical basics)
Required Skills
- 35 years of strong experience with WordPress development
- Solid understanding of PHP, WordPress hooks, filters, CPTs
- Hands-on experience with ACF Pro
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery)
- API integration experience
- Strong understanding of responsive design
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles
- Basic working knowledge of Figma
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of AWS, GCP, or similar hosting environments
- Experience with website caching, CDN, and performance tools
- Git/version control experience
- Basic JavaScript / jQuery knowledge
