About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Wealth Underwriter

In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables and contribute to large-scale planning related to Wealth Underwriting

Review, analyze, and evaluate borrower financial data for moderately complex high-net-worth loans to determine credit worthiness and monitor existing portfolio to identify issues that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations

Independently resolve moderately complex business, operational, or technical issues and lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of Wealth Underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements

Develop solid understanding of Home Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth Investment Management client mortgages as needed

Collaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals serve as a mentor for lower level staff

Provide input to assist leaders with credit risk management decisions to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Wealth Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualification

Workactively as a deal team member in private equity credit underwriting involving financial analysis review and risk assessment of a large number of investors in Private equity funds

Evaluate borrower financial data for moderately complex high-net-worth loans to determine credit worthiness including preparation and review of underwriting memo covering a deep analysis of our clients, deal structure, underlying collateral & PE fund investment strategies.

Make decisions on complex and multi-faceted credit risk management issues to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations requiring solid understanding of Wealth Underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements that influence and lead the Wealth Underwriting team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
