Role: Warehouse Senior Executive

Department: Operations

Location: Bhiwandi (Work from Warehouse)

Reports to: Operations Manager & Supply Chain Head

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, receiving, dispatch, team supervision, and ensuring process compliance to achieve operational efficiency and service levels.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and periodic physical audits.
• Ensure proper batch control, expiry tracking, and FIFO/FEFO management, especially for FMCG / food products.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Supervise inbound receiving operations and ensure GRN accuracy, proper QC checks, and complete documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors for inbound planning and smooth inventory flow.
• Oversee picking, packing, and dispatch operations to ensure timely order fulfillment as per defined SLAs.
• Monitor dispatch planning, vehicle loading, and documentation including invoicing coordination.
• Prepare daily MIS reports and track KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, dispatch TAT, damage rate, productivity per manpower, and dock-to-stock time.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, hygiene protocols, and 5S housekeeping practices within the warehouse.
• Support internal and external audits, compliance checks, and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, Operations, or related field; certification in warehouse management is preferred.

- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in FMCG, E-commerce, or 3PL environments.

- Strong operational knowledge of inbound, outbound, inventory control, and warehouse compliance processes.

- Hands-on experience with WMS / ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Zoho, Oracle, etc.).

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.

- Proven team handling and leadership capabilities.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to handle peak season pressure and work in a warehouse-based operational environment.

- Knowledge of batch control, expiry management, hygiene standards, and temperature-controlled inventory handling is preferred.
