Overview of Job
As a Senior Vue.js Developer, you will be a key player in our development team, leading the design, development and maintenance of advanced front-end solutions using Vue.js. You will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle with a focus on creating scalable and high-performance web applications. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership skills and a commitment to mentoring junior developers while driving continuous improvement in our development processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of clean, maintainable and efficient front-end code using Vue.js adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers and senior developers to architect and implement complex user-facing features and functionalities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct and lead code reviews, offering constructive feedback to improve code quality and team performance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive tests to ensure the reliability and performance of front-end components; identify and resolve complex bugs and performance issues.
- Create reusable components and libraries in Vue.js, enhancing development efficiency and maintaining high-quality code.
- Work closely with backend developers and designers to seamlessly integrate front-end components with server-side logic and ensure cohesive user experiences.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation to support ongoing development, facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks and methodologies relevant to front-end development, particularly within the Vue.js ecosystem and apply this knowledge to enhance existing systems and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2.6 to 6 years of professional experience in front-end development with a strong focus on Vue.js.
- Advanced knowledge of Vue.js, including its core principles, best practices and ecosystem.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 with extensive experience in integrating these with Vue.js applications.
- Proven experience in developing and managing complex components and libraries within a Vue.js application.
- Expertise in integrating RESTful APIs with Vue.js and understanding of how to effectively manage data flow between client and server.
- Extensive experience with version control systems particularly Git, including advanced usage and branching strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to debug and optimize front-end code for performance and scalability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts clearly.
