Senior Video Editor

xMonks Drive, the podcast hosted by Gaurav Arora, is looking for a Senior Video Editor who can turn raw conversations into content people can't stop watching, across long-form and short-form.

If you have a sharp eye for storytelling, a feel for what hooks an audience, and you enjoy being part of the process from the shoot to the final export, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do,

Create podcast teasers, trailers, promos, and highlight videos with strong hooks and storytelling

Edit long-form and short-form content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms

Find the strongest moments, narratives, and emotional beats in every conversation

Take projects through the complete post-production process, from raw footage to final delivery

Bring stories to life with B-roll, stock footage, motion graphics, typography, transitions, sound effects, and music

Handle basic color correction, audio cleanup, sound design, and visual finishing

Create platform-specific versions in different aspect ratios and resolutions

Assist in podcast shoots and work closely with the production team on set

Collaborate with content, creative, design, and production teams to execute briefs

Incorporate feedback and revisions while protecting the creative intent

Improve hooks, pacing, retention, and overall audience engagement

Quality-check all projects before final delivery

Manage multiple projects at once and consistently meet deadlines

Stay on top of editing techniques, social media trends, and storytelling formats

What we're looking for

1+ years of experience editing for digital platforms, ideally podcasts or interview-led content

Proficiency in Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro (After Effects is a plus)

A strong portfolio showing both long-form and short-form work

Good understanding of pacing, retention, and platform-specific storytelling

Ability to work independently, take feedback well, and juggle deadlines
