About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Video Editor who can create premium, high-retention video content across reels, aftermovies, brand films, concert assets, digital campaigns, and social-first storytelling.

This role requires more than technical editing. We need someone who understands rhythm, emotion, storytelling, music, audience retention, visual luxury, and platform behaviour.

The editor should be able to turn raw footage into content that feels cinematic, sharp, addictive, and brand-worthy.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Storytelling
  • Edit reels, short-form videos, aftermovies, launch films, brand films, teasers, trailers, podcast clips, and event content.
  • Build strong narratives from raw footage, music, interviews, performances, and event moments.
  • Create videos with strong openings, emotional progression, visual rhythm, and powerful endings.
  • Ensure every edit has clarity, pace, mood, and retention value.

Short-Form Content Mastery
  • Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos, and paid media creatives.
  • Understand hooks, jump cuts, subtitles, sound design, pacing, pattern breaks, and retention triggers.
  • Create multiple versions of the same content for different platforms and objectives.
  • Work closely with the content and social media teams to make videos more watchable and shareable.

Premium Event & Concert Editing
  • Edit high-quality aftermovies and promotional assets for live events, concerts, artists, luxury experiences, and brand collaborations.
  • Understand how to make live performance footage feel grand, cinematic, emotional, and aspirational.
  • Use crowd shots, stage moments, artist energy, lighting, music drops, and emotion to create impact.

Motion Graphics & Design Sense
  • Add clean titles, subtitles, lower thirds, transitions, text animation, logos, and motion graphics where required.
  • Maintain strong visual hierarchy, premium typography, and brand consistency.
  • Ensure edits do not look cluttered, cheap, or template-driven.

Sound Design & Music Sense
  • Use music, ambience, crowd energy, beat cuts, risers, drops, and sound effects to elevate the edit.
  • Sync visuals with music intelligently.
  • Understand the difference between a loud edit and an emotionally powerful edit.

Team Coordination & Delivery
  • Coordinate with leadership, content teams, social media managers, designers, and production teams.
  • Take feedback professionally and revise quickly.
  • Organize project files, footage, exports, backups, and final deliverables properly.
  • Deliver platform-ready videos in correct formats, sizes, and deadlines.

Required Skills
  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience.
  • Strong command over Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Good knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or AI video tools is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of cinematic editing, social media editing, music-led edits, and brand storytelling.
  • Strong sense of pacing, framing, transitions, typography, color, and sound design.
  • Ability to edit both fast-paced reels and premium long-form videos.
  • Experience with 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, and platform-specific exports.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines without compromising quality.

The candidate must understand that editing is not just cutting footage. It is marketing through emotion, attention, and memory. Every edit must deliver:

Bonus Skills
  • Experience editing music concerts, luxury events, artist content, podcasts, brand films, influencer campaigns, or spiritual/cultural content.
  • Strong knowledge of AI video tools, generative visuals, clean-up tools, and upscaling workflows.
  • Ability to create thumbnails, title frames, teaser cuts, and campaign cutdowns.
  • Understanding of paid media creatives and ad-performance-driven edits.
  • Ability to guide junior editors and improve editing output across the team.

Ideal Candidate

You are a senior creative technician with strong taste. You understand how to build emotion, energy, and desire through video. You should be equally comfortable editing a cinematic aftermovie, a viral reel, a brand film, or a high-impact concert teaser.
