Business Strategy & Leadership
- Design and implement NI Sales strategy in India.
- Become the impetus and originator of product strategy.
- Combine and unify appropriate processes and programs across 4 regions and 21 branches.
- Define and implement appropriate sales and marketing strategies to suit regions and branches as appropriate.
- Develop a professional sales force.
- Full responsibility and ownership of TKEI NI sales results. Develop KPI's and incentive schemes to drive required actions that bring agreed-upon results.
- Leading by example in ethics and safety and absolute MUST.
Financial Management
- Define fiscal targets and responsibility for targets at HQ, region, branch, and job-site level.
- Performance measurement via financial statements, OLI reports and VIEW. Conduct formal performance/ops reviews.
- Participate in reviews with TKEAP, and TKE as required.
- Develop/generate annual and mid-term business plan reports & presentations.
Impact
- Strong leadership required to drive organizational change. Transitioning from traditional hierarchical management style towards functional and matrix foundation.
- India is in growth mode and receiving increased focus, attention and support as a key developing market.
- This position is key role in the development of TKE in India.
Expertise
- Consistent past success in meeting sales and business/financial targets.
- Experience motivating and leading sales teams.
- Understanding what motivates and influences customer behavior and decision making.
- Having experience in the lift industry. Have experience WINNING and managing large projects.
- Some M&A experience is a plus.
Complexity & Process
- Lead sales team spread over entire nation, (regions, branches and area operations)
- Functional tie-ups with TKEAP headquarter.
- Coordinate with different internal stakeholders and external partners such as government officials, building constructors, architects, materials supplier, project consultants and TKEI field and manufacturing personnel when needed.
- For projects and product development interact with global organization as needed
Customer Management
- Must be willing to get involved where necessary to support and create customer confidence, close final negotiations, drive collections, or resolve conflict.
- Develop appropriate professional relationships with consultants, government agencies, architects, builders and developers.
Who We Are Looking For
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, and / or an MBA or equivalent .
- Experience 20+ years.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, strategic thinking/planning and collaboration skills.
- A broad understanding of all matters related to Sales in a construction, service and manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of management systems, policies, strategies and systems needed to implement Sales & Marketing strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Prior elevator specific technical knowledge is an asset.
- Strong business analysis (processes, organization and systems) skills and experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suited to working within a decentralized matrix management structure.
- Significant and extensive budget development and management experience.
- Understanding of how to integrate and maximize internal/external resources as well as building and leveraging strategic partnerships with stakeholders.
- Previous experience in an international company.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Set budget for the year and deliver financial targets as defined.
