Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Vice President - Liability, located in Chennai. The role involves leading and building a liability insurance portfolio within the organization, collaborating with clients to assess and mitigate liability risks, and driving product development to meet specific client needs. The Senior Vice President will take charge of claims management, team leadership, and relationship building with key stakeholders in the insurance and business sectors. The role will also include developing growth strategies and achieving business targets for the liability segment.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Finance and Insurance, with expertise in liability-focused insurance products
- Experience in Actuarial Science and a deep understanding of risk assessment and risk management principles
- Proven skills in Claims Management, including effectively representing clients interests during settlements
- Demonstrated Team Management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor teams to achieve business objectives
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry, preferably in senior managerial roles
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field
- Professional certifications, such as ACII or fellowship in relevant insurance or actuarial fields, are an added advantage
