Senior UX/UI Designer at R2!
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced UX/UI Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. You will play a crucial role in shaping how users interact with our products, from initial research through final implementation.
**This will start as a 6-month contract with the opportunity to go full-time thereafter.

Salary:
0.5 - 1.5 Lakhs/month depending on experience
Location:
Remote, but must be based in India
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead user research initiatives including interviews, surveys, and usability testing to deeply understand user needs and pain points
- Create user personas and journey maps to guide design decisions and communicate user insights to stakeholders
- Design information architecture and user flows that simplify complex processes
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma
- Establish and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across all products
- Conduct usability testing sessions and iterate designs based on user feedback
- Design responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment
- Present design concepts and rationales to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and are inclusive for users with disabilities
Required Qualifications:
Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design for commercial web and mobile applications
- Proven track record of shipping successful digital products from concept to launch
- Portfolio demonstrating strong user-centered design process and outcomes
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping
- Strong understanding of design thinking principles and methodologies
- Experience conducting various forms of UX research (user interviews, surveys, usability testing)
- Proficiency in creating user personas, journey maps, and information architecture
- Experience building and maintaining design systems
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively collaborate with developers
Soft Skills
- Collaborative and not defensive always seeking to produce the best outcomes
- Strong empathy and ability to advocate for user needs
- Excellent visual design skills with attention to typography, color theory, and layout
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Detail-oriented with ability to deliver pixel-perfect designs
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with collaboration tools Jira & Confluence
- Experience designing for SaaS or enterprise applications
- Knowledge of microinteractions and motion design
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design decisions
- Understanding of front-end development frameworks
