OLX India is a leading classifieds platform, boasting over 100+ million app downloads across diverse categories, including cars, bikes, real estate, and electronics.

Consumers and dealers come to OLX India, India's largest online classifieds platform, to buy and sell used and new products. OLX India operates in over 10 categories across India. These main categories include Auto, Real estate, Mobiles/Electronics, Furniture, etc. Sellers can list multiple products and upload their advertisements, including pictures, titles, descriptions, and expected sales prices

As a Sr. UX Designer at OLX , you will be a part of the Product & User Experience Design team that is building the next generation of the best mobile and web experiences for OLX markets across the globe.

What you'll be doing :

Build an understanding of users - Partner with UX researchers to facilitate and analyze User research to build an understanding of users.

Conduct usability studies and put together detailed, structured analysis of issues and potential solutions.

Plan, facilitate and lead collaborative design sessions (including sketching and brainstorming) to create ideas or feedback both remote and in-person.

Help define product requirements by collaborative brainstorming and high-level prototyping with teams.

Deliver great user experiences - Create user-centric designs by considering customer feedback and usability findings.

Design across multiple form factors including web, iOS and Android.

Design detailed wireframes with clear user journeys, information architecture, interaction flow and interaction model, user flows / process flows.

Design low and hi- fidelity mockups to conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.

Produce deliverables including presentations, graphic design, wireframes, interactive prototypes, usability reports, design specs.

Communicate and influence design decisions - Communicate design work to the user experience team, product team and senior leadership for review and feedback and to guide decisions and get commitment on final UX deliverables.

Demonstrate trace-ability in the design thinking.

Work with visual designers and engineering teams to ensure integrity of user experience in final product.

Design Management - Apply your UX experience to the development of design processes and philosophy. Create design schedules.

Communicate status and agreements with partner teams. Learn and stay up-to-date on design theory, practice and tools.

Mentor junior designers to support their development and progress.

Who We are looking for :

Design skills - ability to understand and interpret user problems within the context of the product / business - and distill findings into applicable design recommendations and solutions.

Work with teams across the globe and to present information to all levels.

Initiative to dig into the who, why, where, what and how. Curiosity about people, their behaviour and how they work with mobile / digital products.

4-6 years of experience as a User experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar UX-related role working on consumer mobile products with at least a Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI) or a related fields.

Preferably a Masters degree in design. Experience of software tools and applications for conducting usability testing, creating prototypes and hi fidelity designs and delivering impactful presentations.

Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centred design process, and user experience principles and techniques.

Candidates with experience working in marketplace companies or classifieds platforms will be preferred.
