Position Overview:
The Product Design team structure is a blended model. All design belongs to a centralized design team that delivers a globally unified product and brand identity. Designers also belong to pod teams of product management, development, and research, working as one to ship entire lines of business.We like problem solvers with small egos. We value individual vision, and we invest in individual growth. We work through issues as a team to craft global designs, and we embrace experimentation.
What You'll Do:
- Lead user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points across product ecosystems.
- Define and evolve user personas, journey maps, and experience maps to guide design strategy.
- Direct creation of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes while establishing design standards.
- Oversee usability testing, synthesize feedback, and mentor junior designers on iterative methodologies.
- Partner with product, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and business-aligned.
- Evolve the design system, championing adoption across all products.
- Manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment while mentoring the team.
- Champion industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outputs.
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years leading design strategy in complex B2B/SaaS environments.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating mastery of user-centered design and research methodologies. Focusing on discovery and process over output.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma, including design systems management.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and defend design decisions with data-driven insights.
- Advanced problem-solving with ability to balance business, user, and technical constraints.
- Deep knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience working with AI tools and how to incorporate AI in UX practices.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
