Job Description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging - but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you'll build

As a Senior User Experience Designer operating across multiple cross-product initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling all AI-related, cross-Product Area user experiences. Your mission is to design cohesive, intuitive, and AI-empowered experiences that are used across products and customer touchpoints. You will act as the lead designer for several strategically critical initiatives-supported partly by thirdparty design resources-ensuring clarity, quality, and consistency across all deliverables.

1. InProduct Communications (IPC) for AI Adoption

. Lead the design of AIdriven in-product recommendations that help customers discover, activate, and adopt AI features.

. Scale the existing IPC framework that already enables 50% adoption of base AI features.

. Partner with the All in AI marketing team to expand recommendation logic, placement patterns, and UX flows.

. Ensure designs accelerate customer activation and value realization.

2. Fiori App Library Evolution

. Redesign and modernize discovery, navigation, and decision-support experiences related to Fiori apps.

. Ensure seamless integration of AIenhanced metadata, guidance, and cross-product insights.

. Drive consistency with design system principles while pushing next-level interaction models where needed.

3. New Switch Experience

. Lead the design vision of the new cross-product Switch experience.

. Create a seamless, contextual, and scalable pattern for switching between apps, capabilities, or AIpowered contexts.

. Orchestrate alignment across product teams to ensure coherent rollout and adoption.

4. Business Suite & AI-Empowered Integration Topics

. Design foundational UX patterns that support AIdriven cross-product workflows.

. Ensure smooth user transitions across Business Suite components.

. Expand the integration layer to embed AI guidance, predictions, and automation touchpoints.

What you'll bring

. Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX, HCI, Design, or a related field.

. 8+ years of experience designing complex enterprise, cross-product, or AI-driven experiences.

. Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and enterprise-scale UX systems.

. Experience designing AI-driven or recommendation-based user experiences.

. Strong skills in prototyping across multiple fidelities.

. Ability to influence and align stakeholders across product, engineering, AI, and marketing.

. Experience mentoring junior designers and coordinating thirdparty design contributions.

. Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling skills.

. Familiarity with Business Suite applications and cross-product patterns is a strong advantage.

Where you belong

You'll join a diverse, international, cross-disciplinary team working at the intersection of AI, product foundations, and customer enablement. Your work will directly influence core AI experiences used across products, ensuring customers understand, adopt, and benefit from AI at scale. This role is business-critical: not hiring a designer for this scope would significantly delay delivery of AI-empowered features and reduce adoption driven through InProduct Communications.
