Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior US Accountant with strong hands-on experience in US accounting and close processes. This role requires someone who is a self-starter, comfortable reviewing work, handling client deliverables, and supporting the build-out of our US accounting practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review US financial statements and month-end close
- Handle GL accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Review junior accountants work and ensure accuracy
- Support client-ready reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow)
- Coordinate with US clients and internal stakeholders
- Assist in setting up accounting processes and controls
- Work on clean-up and catch-up accounting projects
Required Experience & Skills
- 36 years of US accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Hands-on experience with month-end close and reviews
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (must-have); NetSuite a plus
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Qualifications
- CPA / CA / CMA (qualified or pursuing preferred)
- Accounting or Finance graduate
