Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Unix Engineer with strong expertise in UNIX systems and shell scripting. The candidate will also support backend testing and collaborate with development teams using tools like Jira, Git, and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain shell scripts for UNIX-based systems.
• Support backend testing activities and collaborate with QA teams.
• Work with version control systems such as Git.
• Track issues and manage tasks using Jira.
• Query and manage databases using SQL.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize UNIX scripts and backend processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in UNIX operating systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with backend testing.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and task management.
• SQL knowledge for database querying and management.
• 25 years of relevant experience.
