Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for space surveillance and intelligence applications, ensuring seamless user experiences across various touchpoints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, gathering requirements and feedback to inform design decisions.
- Create low-fidelity sketches, high-fidelity prototypes, and design specifications to effectively communicate design solutions.
- Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across our products and platforms.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and iterate on designs, driving continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to enhance our design capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to ensure seamless handoffs and effective implementation of design solutions.
- Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and innovation within our design team.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, ensuring clear communication and consistency across our design processes.

Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in human-centered design principles, user experience, and visual design.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and design systems management.
- Strong understanding of user research methods, usability testing, and user experience design principles.
- Ability to communicate complex design ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with design systems, component-driven design, and design language systems.
- Knowledge of front-end development and coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with design tools such as InVision, Mural, or other collaboration platforms.
- Understanding of user experience design principles for complex systems, such as those found in space surveillance and intelligence applications.
