Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Travel Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international and domestic travel, excellent communication skills, and the ability to design customised travel itineraries while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and sell customised international and domestic travel
- Handle end-to-end travel arrangements for clients
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel regulations, and visa requirements
- Manage client enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business
- Handle booking systems (GDS) and ensure accurate ticketing and documentation
- Resolve customer issues and provide timely support before, during, and after travel
- Stay updated with travel trends, airline policies, and industry updates
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to team performance
Requirements- Minimum 35 years of experience in the travel industry
- Strong knowledge of international travel and ticketing
- Experience with GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple bookings and work under pressure
- Sales-driven mindset with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking tools
Preferred Skills- IATA/UFTAA certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of UK and international travel markets (preferred but not mandatory)
