We are seeking an experienced Senior Manual Tester to collaborate with our team.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented quality assurance professional with a strong background in testing complex business applications within payment gateway, banking, financial services, travel technology, online booking systems, or reservation platforms.

As a Senior Manual Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and quality of mission-critical applications that support customer transactions, bookings, payments, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Strategizing and Designing test plans for new feature implementations

· Perform functional testing, regression testing, and compatibility testing on mobile based apps and website

· Understand product requirements/specification and develop testing scenarios that will cover all functional and non-functional requirements. o Prepare, execute, and maintain test-cases

· Report bug and improvements encountered and take ownership to drive them to closure

· Provide feedback on usability and serviceability of new features in development

· Perform API testing for third party integrations

· Perform User Acceptance Testing

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Manual Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Experienced in user requirement analysis, documenting test plans, execution of test cases.
• Proven experience in one or more of the following industries:
• Payment Gateways
• Banking & Financial Services
• FinTech Solutions
• Travel Technology
• Online Booking Platforms
• Reservation Systems
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and QA best practices
• Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools
• Ability to validate APIs, databases, and complex business workflows
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, oral and written communication skills
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments is preferred
• Knowledge of bug tracking system/bug life-cycle management tools (JIRA) is a plus
• Experienced in back-end testing for data verification and data validation using SQL
• Exposure to automation testing tools is considered an advantage but is not mandatory

Education

• BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
