Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer / Test Lead with strong experience in API automation and modern UI automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for test strategy planning, automation framework development, and mentoring junior QA engineers, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
The role requires expertise in Java-based API testing, automation frameworks, and end-to-end testing using Playwright.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement test strategies, test plans, and automation frameworks.
- Lead automation testing efforts for APIs and UI/E2E applications.
- Develop and maintain API automation frameworks using RestAssured and JUnit5.
- Perform Java-based API testing using tools like Swagger and Postman.
- Write and maintain BDD-based test cases.
- Implement UI and End-to-End automation using Playwright scripts.
- Execute Event Driven Architecture (EDA) automation testing.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and delegate tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality standards.
- Participate in code reviews, test reviews, and CI/CD integration for automated tests.
