Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our quality engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust automated test frameworks using Playwright with C#, working within an Agile Scrum environment, and collaborating closely with development and product teams through Azure DevOps (ADO) to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright with C#.
- Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing across web and API layers.
- Analyse test results, identify root causes, and log defects with clear documentation.
Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test suites within Azure DevOps.
- Integrate automated tests into ADO pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Track bugs, user stories, and tasks through ADO boards in collaboration with the development team.
- Generate and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate test coverage and quality metrics.
Agile Scrum
- Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to sprint-level test planning, effort estimation, and risk identification.
- Champion a quality-first mindset within the Scrum team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must Have:
- 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in test automation and quality assurance.
- Strong expertise in Playwright for UI and end-to-end test automation.
- Proficiency in C# for writing and maintaining automation scripts.
- Practical experience using Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and working in sprint-based delivery models.
- Experience with API testing - REST services, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
