Job description
- In this role you will be a part of agile team to develop test strategy and automation scripts/framework for next generation software platforms. We are looking for highly motivated individual who has ability to work in platform development based on open-source Linux as operating system.
- Candidate should have both master level knowledge and experience in test architecture, and automation frameworks both at components and system level for middleware, services and application software based on Linux.
- As part of mission, you are responsible to deliver best solution to support our business teams. To mentor other team members and provide strong contribution in building team
Primary Skills (Technical Competency):
Skills:
- Test experience in Embedded Linux Devices and Systems
- Strong experience in Python; Framework experience like LAVA, Robot Framework must.
- Strong experience in Linux: Shell scripting, Container technologies
- Experience in Testing of Wired protocols/ Cloud Technology/Wireless Protocols
- Experience in REST API Testing
- Knowledge of Virtual machines
- Identify and develop new automation test framework.
- Identifying risks in test execution and plan for mitigations required
- Executing tests and generating reports, perform defects management with the tools like Jira
- Working experience in AGILE environment
- Work closely with product manager and taking part in estimation of tasks
- Ability to mentor junior team members.
- Working knowledge of continuous Integration/DevOps process
- Nice to have : Experience in security Certificate Management, basic of Linux internals
Responsibilities:
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test cases and verify the integration of software components, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Version Control and Configuration Management: Work deeply with Release Manager to define the content of releases, versions and configurations.
- Documentation: Collaborate with leaders to create comprehensive documentation related to software integration processes, configurations, and interfaces to facilitate maintenance and future development.
- Collaboration: Working closely with development teams, Tech lead and Product Owners to improve low level tests and developments that could ease integration.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Addressing issues related to software integration, providing support, and resolving conflicts that may arise during the integration process.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-13 years of experience Embedded Products platforms based on Linux and RTOS
- B.E /B.Tech (EC/EEE/CS/etc) or MCA or MSc Computers complete experience in above skills.
- Languages: English (advanced) written and verbal
