Job Description

Senior Test Engineer T24+ Core Banking + Current Account and Saving Account experience.

Years of exp: 4-6 Years.

Testing expectation:

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business and functional requirements and convert them into detailed test scenarios & cases.
  • Execute end-to-end functional, regression, integration, and interface testing.
  • Perform API testing as required.
  • Identify defects, log them with complete analysis, and follow up through closure.
  • Prepare test status reports, defect summaries, and coverage metrics.
  • Collaborate with BAs, developers, product owners, and test leads to ensure quality delivery.
  • Validate compliance with business rules, workflows, GL postings, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support during UAT, go-live validation, and production verification.

Required Skills:

  • Strong banking product knowledge and functional testing experience.
  • Good exposure to SQL, API/Postman, data validation, and integration testing.
  • Experience with ALM/JIRA and test management processes.

Domain Expectation: T24+ Core Banking + Current Account & Saving Account

  • Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases for CBS modules (CASA, Deposits, Customer Management, GL).
  • Validate product setup, account lifecycle events, interest/charge calculations, multi-currency handling, and accounting flows.
  • Perform EOD/BOD validations, transaction posting checks, and reconciliation of GL entries.
  • Test workflows for onboarding, account maintenance, standing instructions, and transaction processing.

API & Integration Testing

  • Perform end-to-end API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
  • Validate API request/response structures, status codes, error handling, payload formats, and authentication flows.
  • Validate data mapping, business rules, and transformation logic between CBS and middleware.
  • Test integrations with (Mobile App, Yakeen Integration, Tanfeeth, Identity Management, Notification Engine)

Required Skills

  • Strong functional understanding of T24 Core Banking systems
  • Strong hands-on experience with API testing (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML, headers, tokens, OAuth/JWT, etc.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL for backend validations.
  • Familiarity with integration testing concepts: ESB/Middleware, queues, microservices, external interfaces.
  • Experience in defect management, test planning, and SIT/UAT support.
  • Ability to understand logs, message flows, and troubleshoot interface issue patterns
