Position - Senior Associate Test Engineer

CTC - UPTO 15L
Maintain and improve existing test automation regression suite, Optimize the existing test automation frameworks and drive the move towards a single framework. Assist the test manager with the implementation of non-functional testing. Mentor juniors in the team.
Relevant Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in QA roles with a strong focus on policy administration systems, particularly OIPA.
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing and HP ALM.
- Experience with test preparation, test data creation, and execution across businesscritical applications.
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, defect resolution, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with insurance domain workflows and financial product testing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing of OIPA systems including extensions and AS files.
- Design test cases and execute functional and integration testing.
- Review and validate business requirements, translating them into test scenarios.
- Document UAT test cases, scripts, and test results.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance.
- Conduct web services and API testing using Postman, SOAPUI, Swagger.
- Maintain traceability of test cases to requirements.
- Support CI/CD pipelines through automation testing contributions.
- Track and manage defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Support end users and operational teams during UAT cycles.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Experience in Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA).
- Manual Testing.
- HP ALM.
- Experience into SOAP and Rest based API Testing.
- Experience in SQL scripting.
- Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber.
- DevSecOps Tools: Jenkins, GitHub.
- Understanding of Testing Pyramid & SDLC
