Senior Test Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans for Blue Yonder WMS projects and enhancements.
• Test Case Creation and Execution: Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for core WMS processes such as receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Environment Management: Collaborate with technical teams to set up and maintain test environments, perform data setup, and validate configurations.
• Defect Management: Log defects accurately, track them through their lifecycle, and perform root cause analysis for issues identified during the testing phases.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Support UAT activities, ensuring solutions align with business needs and operational objectives.
• Automation and Tools: Use test automation tools to enhance test efficiency and coverage; experience with tools such as Selenium or scripting is preferred.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior test engineers, providing leadership in test planning and execution.
• Documentation: Maintain complete documentation of test scripts, test results, defect logs, and test execution reports.
