We are looking for a
Senior Test Engineer to support offshore testing for NPSS Real-Time Transfers. The role involves end-to-end testing, integration validation, and ensuring compliance with scheme and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
- Define and execute end-to-end test strategy for NPSS real-time payments.
- Prepare and execute test cases covering inbound/outbound transactions, positive/negative scenarios, exceptions, timeouts, rejections, and retries.
- Validate complete transaction lifecycle: Channel Core Banking NPSS Acknowledgement.
Integration & Validation
- Test integrations between Core Banking (e.g., T24), NPSS connectivity (MQ/APIs), and digital channels.
- Ensure ISO 20022 message compliance, data accuracy, and real-time performance.
Defect & Quality Management
- Log, track, and resolve defects with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure readiness for industry testing, certification, and production go-live.
Compliance & UAT Support
- Validate compliance with NPSS scheme rules and Central Bank regulations.
- Support UAT, reporting, and stakeholder updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer, preferably in banking or financial services

- Hands-on experience in real-time / instant payment systems testing
- Experience in Core Banking integration testing (preferably T24)
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards with practical testing experience
- experience in API and MQ-based integration testing
- Strong understanding of end-to-end banking transaction lifecycle, including validations, acknowledgements, and reconciliation processes
