Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce CPQ Tester with 5+ years of hands-on QA experience, including 3+ years specifically in Salesforce CPQ testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) lifecycle, and a proven track record in validating complex CPQ configurations, pricing models, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA efforts for Salesforce CPQ projects, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Review and validate complex product configurations, pricing rules, discount structures, quote documents, and approval workflows.
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, Salesforce admins, and business stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality.
- Identify, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Support test data creation and environment setup for CPQ testing scenarios.
- Validate Salesforce CPQ integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, billing platforms, eSignature tools).
- Contribute to or lead test automation efforts using tools like Provar, Selenium, or Tosca (if applicable).
- Provide regular testing status reports and participate in Agile ceremonies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing, with 3+ years focused on Salesforce CPQ.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ components: product bundles, configuration rules, pricing engines, quote templates, and approval workflows.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud and QTC process.
- Strong hands-on experience with test case design, defect tracking, and testing lifecycle tools.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into effective test strategies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium, TestNG, Tosca).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing automation in Salesforce DevOps.
- Knowledge of CPQ integrations with ERP, Billing, CLM (e.g., Conga), or eSignature tools (e.g., DocuSign).
- Experience with Apex testing and Salesforce Lightning Components is a plus.
