Job Purpose

This role is responsible for the design, planning, scripting, and execution of software test automation for a cloud/device platform product.

Technical Skill Sets

Automation Tools: Proficiency with Squish Tool for GUI testing.

Development Environment: Expertise in PyCharm for automation development.

Scripting: Advanced Python scripting skills.

Version Control & CI/CD: Experience with SVN and strong knowledge of Jenkins pipelines.

OS: Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems.

Test Management: Familiarity with tools like JIRA and DOORS.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation frameworks for Device, Desktop, and API testing.

Understand complex automation requirements and derive effective test scenarios.

Execute software test automation design and planning for cloud/device platforms.

Lead the automation of GUI testing using the Squish tool.

Work within CI/CD environments to ensure seamless testing integration.

Healthcare Focus: Hands-on experience testing medical devices or other regulated systems is highly preferred.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field.

Experience: 7+ years in the software industry with a heavy focus on developing and using test automation frameworks.
