What This Job Involves
As Technology Project Manager for JLL's Anti Financial Crime (AFC) transformation program, you will be the operational backbone of a multi-year initiative that is modernizing how JLL delivers regulatory compliance across its global operations. Working within the Global Ethics & Compliance (E&C) team, you will drive end-to-end project delivery for AFC technology implementations spanning sanctions screening, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), and know-your-customer (KYC) platforms.
This is a cross-functional delivery role that requires you to operate at the intersection of compliance, technology, data governance, and operations. You will manage complex workstreams across geographies, hold teams accountable to milestones and budgets, and drive the change management required to embed new compliance technologies into business-as-usual operations. The ideal candidate brings structured program discipline, a bias for action, and the ability to build trust with stakeholders from legal and compliance through to engineering and vendor teams.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for AFC technology workstreams, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Build and maintain integrated project plans for the AFC transformation program, tracking milestones, critical path activities, and cross-workstream dependencies
- Drive cross-functional coordination across Technology, Ethics & Compliance, Data Governance, Operations, and external vendor teams to ensure aligned delivery
- Manage project financials including budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and regular reporting of actuals against plan
- Identify, assess, and actively mitigate project risks and issues, escalating to the Head of AFC and program sponsors when interventions are needed
- Lead change management activities for AFC technology rollouts stakeholder impact assessments, communication planning, training coordination, and adoption tracking to ensure new capabilities embed into operational workflows
- Facilitate governance forums including steering committees, working groups, and status reviews with senior stakeholders across compliance and technology
- Manage vendor delivery timelines and hold external partners accountable to contractual commitments, SLAs, and quality standards
- Produce clear, concise project reporting for senior leadership status dashboards, milestone trackers, risk registers, and executive summaries
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and go-live readiness activities across compliance technology releases
- Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement practices across the program, embedding delivery discipline that scales as the AFC portfolio grows
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of technology project management experience, with a strong track record delivering complex, multi-workstream programs in enterprise environments
- PMP certification (Project Management Professional) required
- Demonstrated experience managing technology transformation or large-scale system implementation programs, ideally within regulated industries
- Proven change management capability experience planning and executing organizational change activities including stakeholder impact analysis, communication strategies, training programs, and adoption measurement
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability and alignment across technology, business, compliance, and vendor teams without direct authority
- Rigorous financial management experience including budget ownership, forecasting, and variance reporting for technology programs
- Expert-level proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project, Confluence) with fluency in both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches
- Strong risk and issue management discipline with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating delivery risks
- Excellent communication skills able to produce clear executive reporting and facilitate governance forums with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
- Experience managing vendor relationships and holding third-party delivery partners to commitments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering projects in the financial crime, AML/CTF, or compliance technology domain
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, CCMP) or formal training in organizational change frameworks
- Program management certification (PgMP) or experience operating at the program level across multiple interdependent project workstreams
- Experience with compliance technology platforms used for sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, or KYC automation
- Background in data governance, system integration, or enterprise data strategy projects
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience working in commercial real estate, financial services, or other globally regulated industries
- Understanding of how emerging technologies including AI can enhance compliance workflows and operational efficiency
