As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, modern user assistance content including how-to guides, manuals, references, or instructions to help our users use our software effectively. Your job will be to ensure that the right information is available in the right place, at the right time. In your role as a Technical Writer, you will work closely with development, UX, and product management.
What youll do
Design, write, and update Usage guides, developer documentation, APIs.
Update and maintain client facing documentation including targeted Mind Touch articles, online help, and PDFs.
Analyze different audiences to produce optimal format and content in documentation.
Basic ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to research a software product, determine functionality and design features, then communicate those effectively to the user.
Communicate with engineering and other teams about the functionality of the application.
Contribute to tools and processes that make documentation and software development more efficient, scalable, and collaborative.
Expertise youll bring
5 - 10 years of experience in creating end-user documentation.
Experience documenting or building web applications, especially at an enterprise scale.
Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work both independently or in a group and prioritize ones own work
Ability to handle changing priorities.
Bachelors or equivalent degree of education.
