Dot and Beyond is working closely with one of its PBX SaaS clients to support and enhance their product experience, documentation, and technical communication. As part of this engagement, we are looking for a Technical Writer who can bring structure, clarity, and consistency to a complex PBX-based platform.
This role focuses on supporting an active SaaS product by creating clear, reliable, and well structured documentation for users, developers, and internal teams.
What you'll work on
You will contribute to documentation across multiple layers of a PBX SaaS platform, including:
- User and admin documentation such as console manuals, how-to guides, quick start guides, and knowledge base articles
- System level documentation including architecture overviews, data flows, operational runbooks, and disaster recovery documentation
- Developer focused documentation such as API references, authentication and authorization guides, and integration documentation
- Security and compliance related documentation supporting requirements like SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Supporting documents such as SLAs, audit log descriptions, logging and monitoring overviews, and technical handouts
A key part of this role is simplifying complex technical workflows and systems into clear, easy to understand documentation.
Roles & responsibilities
- Create and maintain accurate, well structured documentation for a PBX SaaS platform
- Work closely with product, engineering, DevOps, and security teams on the client side
- Translate complex technical, network, and security concepts into clear documentation
- Organize large volumes of content into a unified and maintainable documentation structure
- Ensure documentation stays updated as the product evolves
- Support audits and compliance efforts through proper documentation
What we're looking for
- Experience as a Technical Writer for SaaS, PBX, telecom, or complex software platforms
- Strong understanding of user documentation, API documentation, and developer-focused content
- Ability to understand system architecture, workflows, and backend processes
- Exposure to security and compliance documentation is a strong plus
