Senior Technical Writer

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory):

Senior technical writers will be responsible for technical proficiency, planning, collaboration, data collection, document development, review, and approval process. Also contribute towards meeting the quality, cost and time expectations of business and customers.

This role is contributing to Process Automation business for based in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creation of product documentation by applying technical / domain expertise to clearly describe product functionality, handling, and architecture.
• Plan, write, edit, develop, update, or migrate complete set of technical documents in written or other forms, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and usability for customers.
• Collaborate with technical teams across the organization to gather required information for technical documents and resolve unclear or complex topics.
• Manage documentation reviews and approvals to ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements.
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of relevant products and commonly used publishing tools.
• Support project activities and contribute to improve documentation tools, templates, processes and follow approved methodologies.
• Clear, logical, and consistent content for our customers in all necessary languages and formats.
• Improve quality by releasing global publications, drawings, and certificates in global libraries for our products and offerings.
• Improved collaboration, quality and efficiency with global processes and tools.
• Brand compliant information required by directives and standards for our customers.

• Bachelor of Engineering - BE (Preferred)

• More than 8 years of experience in product documentation development.

• Strong competence in technical English.

• Strong knowledge in DITA concepts and information structuring techniques.

• Solid experience in Skribenta or similar Component Content Management Systems.

• Deliver high quality content according to plan.

• Strong technical skills and applied knowledge in MS office applications.

• Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies.

• Ability to communicate effectively..
