Title: Senior Technical Project Manager

Location: Greater Noida

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in delivering fixedprice, outcomebased technology projects. The role requires endtoend ownership of delivery across planning, execution, governance, financial management, and client engagement. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with delivery rigor and is capable of driving multidisciplinary teams to achieve committed outcomes within defined cost, scope, and timelines.

This is a highvisibility role requiring strong stakeholder management, estimation experience, and the ability to guide teams in a hybrid delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery Ownership

• Lead complete delivery lifecycle for fixedprice projects, ensuring adherence to agreed SOW, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Build project charters, detailed execution plans, milestone definitions, and resourcing strategies.
• Drive delivery accountability across engineering, QA, architecture, and DevOps functions.
• Ensure compliance with Coforge delivery processes, frameworks, and quality standards.

Scope, Estimation & Change Management

• Lead requirement walkthroughs, feasibility assessments, and solutioning discussions.
• Drive effort estimation, WBS creation, scope freezing, and alignment with client contract/SOW.
• Manage change requests, conduct impact analysis, and ensure commercial alignment with clients.
• Partner with presales/solution architects for bid responses and technical proposal creation when required.

Financial & Commercial Governance

• Own project financial health: budgeting, forecast vs. actuals, margin management, and burn rate tracking.
• Conduct periodic financial reviews with Delivery Leadership.
• Ensure billing milestones, invoicing, and revenue recognition are aligned with contract terms.

Technical Oversight

• Work with architects to validate solution designs, technology stack decisions, and implementation plans.
• Conduct regular technical review sessions to ensure progress aligns with design mandates.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation paths.
• Coordinate integration, environment readiness, deployment planning, and release governance.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary engagement point for client stakeholders, program managers, and product owners.
• Drive structured communication: weekly reviews, steering committee updates, RAG dashboards, and reporting.
• Manage expectations on scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, and change requests.
• Build strong client relationships that support longterm account growth and repeat business.

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams (developers, testers, BA, DevOps, SMEs) in onsite/offshore models.
• Mentor team members on execution discipline, delivery standards, and client interactions.
• Support competency building and technical skill upliftment initiatives within the BU.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
• Experience overseeing software architecture discussions, design reviews, and solution validation.
• Hands-on understanding of at least one core technology stack (Java/.NET/Cloud/Mobility).
• Knowledge of databases, integration patterns, APIs, cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Project Management Skills

• Proven experience delivering fixed-price or outcome-based projects (mandatory).
• Expertise in estimation, planning, cost control, and risk management.
• Excellent understanding of project governance, documentation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, MS Project, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and other PM systems.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to handle ambiguity, multi-task, and work under stringent timelines.
• High sense of ownership, discipline, and delivery orientation.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
• PMP / PRINCE2 / CSM / Agile PM certifications preferred.
