We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage and drive technology projects. You will build good relationships with key stakeholder groups to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and deliver complex, cross-portfolio, transformation projects, and efficiencies.
Mandatory Skills- A track record of success in managing multiple technical projects and programs of varying sizes complexities, budgets, and deliverables within a commercial environment, using Agile methodology.
- Relevant qualification for the role, e.g., Agile, APM (PMQ), PRINCE2, PMBOK
- Strong user of Microsoft suite of applications (Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and Atlassian.
- Good influencing skills and stakeholder management, with proven ability
- Experience working with and managing external partners and vendors.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information and updates to non-technical teams.
- Confident in reporting to senior management level.
- Experience working in a matrix-based organization, building relationships and trust across teams and functions.
- Confident to ask relevant and probing questions of key stakeholders

Responsibilities- Ensure the deliverable deadlines are reasonable & achievable at each stage of the project so that the quality of the outputs is not compromised.
- You will facilitate requirements gathering & project scoping to ensure all aspects of the workstreams have been well thought out and to ensure clarity of what the project aims to achieve.
- Drive the timely accomplishment of tasks and ensure each person on the Project team is sure of what they are supposed to do, that they remain focused on clear objectives, and that their time is allocated correctly.
- Manage, advise, and contribute to appropriate project documentation and governance, including business cases and funding asks where relevant.
- Ensure that the project governance, standards, and best practices are followed in line with the Programme Management Office.
- Utilise and maintain key project documentation e.g. business cases, project plan, progress reports, end project reports, risk register (RAID log), lesson learned log, and project team action plans
- Establish, drive, and report on project progress including managing, tracking, and escalating project risks and issue with rapid issue resolution and communication.
- Ensure a clear understanding of project requirements through transparent communication and effective change management.
- Identify key stakeholders, create robust communication plans, and lead project meetings and governance.
- Liaise with all project stakeholders to ensure transparency & collaboration.
- Ensure that senior stakeholders are aware of developments and progress and understand when appropriate to escalate concerns.
- Report in an effective way to executive-level stakeholders
- Work with the technology and delivery teams to organize and compile project estimates as relevant. Create corresponding cost models that can be used to track and monitor actual project spend to date.
- Monitor financial risk and escalate to finance stakeholders.
- Create and manage plans for all workstreams (internal and external), capturing key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and changing scope.
- Identify dependencies (internal and external) within the project. Monitor and report on these dependencies.
- Ensure key development dependencies are in the plan and tracked.
- Work with internal and offshore development and content teams, using the appropriate (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) methodologies, to deliver key project milestones on time and within budget.
- Provide hands-on project management through all stages of the life cycle as defined by internal processes from discovery and validation to handover and beyond.
- Identify key project phase changes where decision points are required.
- Promote knowledge sharing with lessons learned and feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement and best practices.
